Clothing
- A good set of 100% waterproof raingear (Gore-Tex or silicone nylon)
- One warm parka with hood or heavy jacket for those cold days (preferably wind proof)
- A good fleece jacket or hooded fleece sweat shirt
- A couple pairs of long and short sleeve shirts
- 2 pairs of pants, preferably quick dry pants (quick drying and windproof)
- A pair of shorts, for those hot days
- A warm pair of long underwear, tops and bottoms
- Wool and polyester socks
- A good pair of wool or insulated gloves
- A pair of shoes and a good pair of waterproof boots
Misc. Equipment
- Hat or sun visor
- #30 sunscreen (Preferably waterproof)
- Polarized fishing glasses
- Waterproof camera - extra batteries, especially with a digital camera
- Needlenose pliers
- Matches/lighter

Rods: Medium Heavy to Heavy baitcasting or spinning rod, 6 to 7ft. Long (with ample backbone) (Shimano, St. Croix, G-Loomis, Berkley)
